Super User Studio [ http://www.superuserstudio.com] is looking for a freelance Visual / GUI Designer with experience of designing cutting edge visual interfaces for large content sites, as well as web software applications.

You should adept
at creating the following:

  • Mood boards / Concept boards
  • Highly detailed Art Directions & Visual Designs from Wireframes
  • Multiple, unique stylistic solutions to one project
  • A visual language that helps achieve business & user goals
  • Expert visual design style guides that document typography, layout, & colour

    • Other requirements:

  • 5+ years as Visual Designer within a large agency or design studio
  • Understanding of interface & interaction design principles
  • Expert user of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign
  • Excellent communicator of your design, from presentations to writing style guides
  • Good knowledge of modern web standards, JavaScript libraries & AJAX
  • A deep appreciation for simple, sleek
    & usable interfaces
  • Experienced in defining design direction across a family of products

    • The following
    would also be useful:

  • BA / BSc in graphic design, communication design, information design, or other visual arts
  • Illustration skills
  • Experience of producing Visual Design for cross platform projects
