You probably don't care to know or much less give a flying rat's ass that early on my family discovered that I had an inclination for drawing, for which I was encouraged to participate in the public school art classes or that around the age of fourteen I learned guitar and by seventeen I was playing in the rock band circuit throughout Texas. But since you made it this far I'll go ahead and bore ya. Over the next 10 years I began doing concert production. Though earlier in my life I abandoned my art, the interest never left me and for years I wanted to experiment with painting. In early 2000 I enrolled in Irving community college and with the luck of the draw I got Art Guerra as my instructor. Mr Guerra is an accomplished realist painter who earned a scholarship at the Swedish Royal Academy. He studied design with Frans Kline painted with Adolph Gottlieb and Phillip Guston. I feel that Art’s instruction and knowledge helped me catch up to speed quickly. By late 2001 my first painting sold in the North Texas Food Bank Charity Auction. In the last three years I have shown and sold paintings at The Kettle Art Gallery, and The Mac Member show 2006, The MAC Member show 2007, Ft. Worth "Gallery Night" 2007 at the Ridglea Theater. Recent work are the new murals in the historic Lakewood Theater painted in February 2008 and two juried shows. I was selected for the Latino Cultural Center of Dallas' annual "Made in Dallas/Hecho en Dallas July 24th thru Aug.31st  The Bath House Cultural Center's Dia Dos Morte Oct 11th thru Nov 1st 2008 and The Bath House 2009 Dia Dos  Morte show.
